I highly doubt the Pope said Hell doesn't exist lol. Especially considering he referenced Hell when saying Mafia members run that risk if they don't change their ways. CL, did you previously write that everyone goes to heaven?
No

Nah, I'm very skeptical about this. It's possible, but not plausible. Almost like the Resurrection is possibly possible, but definitely not plausible.

Would an atheist be forgiven for thinking they were experiencing a hallucinogenic NDE at that moment? Like, "Oh come on! I have been lately arguing with Little Rik so much, now this?" Then straight to hell?

What about the infants that can't make the choice? Do they just get a freebie?

About the "meeting God" thing, that is a guess of mine, but I would never say that as some sort of claim. It seems to be what would make the most sense, based on my understanding of certain things, but I could be completely wrong on that. And I'd rather no one take my word on it.
As for your question, I have no idea. All I can say I feel confident about, is that Hell is the free decision to turn away from God. What exactly that entails can only be speculation.

You have also stated that God sees our lives simultaneously past, present, and future. That would mean he knows what we would choose during this final interview. So, why bother!

Yes. Why bother what?

Why bother staging a final choice scenario if he already knows what choice you will make?
