Seems probable. It doesn't make much sense that his last attack was in the 80s and he's been behaving himself for the past 40 years

I know that CNN has been doing a thing on him. It will be interesting to find out if he also encountered/cased his victims as a cop.

My guess is he became too old and weak to keep on killing and raping people.
This was like 40 years ago that he stopped though. And he's still alive. He couldn't have been that old 40 years ago.
