Death is the beginning
#11
RE: Death is the beginning
No one KNOWS anything about what happens after death (apart from rot and decay) so whatever you believe is just wishful thinking, with no evidence to support it.
The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it!

If Islam was left to its own devises there would be no science, or emergency rooms.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

My atoms and molecules will be special.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Interesting point, isn't it. Couple of years ago I busted my ankle badly at home .  Called the emergency services and literally crawled on the floor to open the door when the guys arrived. Still have a titanium plate and 8 pins (permanent).

If any of the religions were true, I should have simply lain there and prayed and all would be well. Somehow.

If any of the theists really believed, they would never call an ambulance because it would be unnecessary.

Cue the "free will" bollocks. Like I intentionally chose to knock over a kitchen chair, entangle my foot in it and comprehensively shatter my ankle.

Death is the beginning of life. Not for us, for all the things that will eat us. For us it is the end.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

The free will is (was) there no question about it but it relate to your previous life in which you must have done something wrong to trigger a bad karma  Diablo that now in this life caused to shatter your ankle so free will is 100% responsible even if it was something from a previous life that you wouldn't remember.  Lightbulb

I am sure that an intelligent person like you wouldn't tell something unless you wouldn't have a solid evidence to back up your statement.

Look Chimp is not that I do not believe you that for us human is the end.
All I need from you is this evidence so I can build the great encyclopedia of golden truth.
Can you help with that?  Thanks

QFT. We are recycled.

But after we die, no reason to think anything will happen to ‘us’ other than oblivion.

Well if the Qur'an says so, it must be true. Lulz.

We're living inside the evidence, I pretty much think and believe that the design is sufficient to prove God. My standards are different than yours.

The usual "right wing" propaganda.
Baghdad was the capital and the jewel of the world when Europe was drenched in the dark ages of Christianity. Without the boost Muslims gave humanity, there wouldn't be windmills for you to produce wheat.

Islam says otherwise. Did you see this verse from the Quran?:

Quote:Sura 11, The Quran:
( 121 )   And say to those who do not believe, "Work according to your position; indeed, we are working.

( 122 )   And wait, indeed, we are waiting."

So work; I am working too. Be patient and wait; because I'm being patient and working.

My belief is that we will be whole again, we will also remember exactly what we did in this life.
