Bons, who you met in post #293, arrived today from Guadalajara.
As you can see our amigos in Mexico did a good job putting some weight on him and he is resting comfortably with his new foster mom. The wound on his leg does not look much better. The bandage on his back leg has slipped down but our transporters and the foster have re-dressed the wound and covered it with a sock.... which I am sure sometime tonight he will diligently work at tearing off. He has a vet appointment on Monday at noon that I'll be attending since our vet volunteer for that hospital is off a cruise in the North Sea.
Anyway, we'll see what his new vet wants to do about that sore. He probably keeps licking it which keeps it red. Brat.

Vacuum or shave the cat.

Shaving's more practical.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Could always set weakened mouse traps around the desk top. Cats hate that.

You can train them to enjoy a vacuum. Add a slicker brush head and it's done and done.

Imma get some pictures of my gunshy beagle up in this piece shortly. She's bigger than the palm of my hand now.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

All night long..all night. It's glorious. We have alot of rabbits - she doesn;t like guns but she loves rabbits. I know alot of people think that howl makes them bad housedogs, but personally, I love that sound.
