DNA Proves Existence of a Designer

You can get it from organic chemistry, though.

Yet, that is precisely what man has done.  He has imaginatively created a god and claimed its sophistication out of thin air.

It's an error to infer Zeus from lightning when you know what really causes lighting. We have a natural explanation for the origin of DNA. It's called RNA world. And has been pointed out before, RNA is highly complex and can form spontaneously in a solution with the right temperature and compounds present. And there's a logical path to self-replicating RNA, and from that to an evolutionary path guided by natural selection to DNA.

It's the 21st century and your idea of God is an inflated Zeus.

It definitely gets tiresome arguing with non-believers. There is an army of them and they are a rude and disrespectful bunch. Maybe someone will get the message there and be saved. I try to stick to Intelligent Design arguments but they just use straw man, ridicule, and other manipulative debating tactics.

I hope you all feel ashamed of yourself for your conduct when all CDF47 is doing it trying to preach to us for our own sakes!

Atheism is not believing any deities are actually real. Astrophysics and cosmology are irrelevant to the position unless a deity can be demonstrated to be involved. I accept the theory of the initial cosmic expansion as well, and it has nothing to do with my atheism, which is based on a policy of trying not to have beliefs that can't be rationally justified, especially about important matters. And the number of atheists has only grown as science has been able to discern more about the natural origins of our cosmos.

Typical theistic butt-hurtiness.

We can and have, you're just willfully deaf.

Your argument is with science, not atheism. Hundreds of millions of theists have no problem reconciling their faith with a natural origin for DNA. It's not the atheists you don't believe, it's the scientists working at the forefront of understanding DNA and its origins. Take it up with Francis Collins, the Christian lead for the Human Genome Project who accepts a natural origin for DNA.

It's not. But you keep telling that story to yourself. I have some oceanfront property in Arizona I'd like to sell to you.

You can't even understand what a scientific fact is, that's one of your many, many problems.

Indeed I have never been a theist because I find the idea of god to be laughably silly. The science agrees with me, but it is the stupidity of theism which made me an atheist.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
