DNA Proves Existence of a Designer on christforums.org

Just read and follow what I say on page one and agree and this thread can end now.

You don't have to be a dick. It's a choice.

I hope you all feel ashamed of yourself for your conduct when all CDF47 is doing it trying to preach to us for our own sakes!

He even trolls his own crowd.

Quote:I guess after trying so much on those forums there is only so much you can say. I am thinking about walking away from them. It is an abusive environment for Christians as well but I think that is on purpose because some may not want the Word of God spread there. There are probably satanists in those atheist forums.

Same thread.

But that's not gossiping, oh no!, never

There could be some here. You never know.  An obvious agenda is being served it appears.

But you're not a troll, oh no, never!

If you're looking for people who didn't pay attention in HS science, try a Christian or Muslim forum.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

It's easy to think that design is the simplest explanation because it comes to us so naturally. It's far easier for us to design something than it is to mentally envisage a population of solutions, evaluate each one, rank them all in order of success and breed the fittest to create a new population and to then repeat the whole process several hundred or thousand times.

But given the questions of how does the brain design something and how does a species evolve, the latter is a lot simpler to explain and easier to simulate on a computer. Indeed, we still have very little idea about the former.

Yet to a religionist brought up to think that the world works by magic, they don't even attempt to consider the process of how something is designed or evolved so go with what they can do more easily themselves. Look at Drich's thread about the brain being a receiver of consciousness and memories. Because he doesn't even attempt at trying to understand what consciousness and memory could be, it doesn't occur to him that even if these functions were offloaded somewhere else, it doesn't tell us anything about how they could work. The religionist mindset is to pick the easiest option and to avoid explaining how things could work by saying that they are supernatural and therefore cannot be explained.

It’s easy to think the reason for reality is “dad told me that’s how it is”.

Nah, like I said before, all you're doing is giving Christianity a black eye.

How so?

My personal opinion is that this person is a troll.  He responds, yes.  But he’s not truly engaging in the topic he says he wants to “discuss”.  If he’s sincere, I’ll eat my shoes.

Start chewing.  I am not trolling anyone.

I find it kind of crazy that they project Christianity stable and Islam on such an increased rise.  Time will tell.

Gee...I wonder what that might be?   Rolleyes

It took you nine hours to think that one up?
You're slacking. 3/10 for dedication.

See me later.

This can serve as a source of inspiration for my research. Because I questioned the point of philosophy I was won over and now plan on writing a philosophy paper. And

I'm also currently thinking about how I can build a self organised machinery that builds itself up from a collection of random parts without design.

I am currently extending a previous experiment to test a hypothesis about how it can be done.

No apologies for the outrageous liberties taken. Tongue
