Evidence would be a testable piece of information that demonstrates the truth of a claim. You don't have evidence that proves the existence of God, because if you did it would be major world news. But you can give it your best shot if you like, or if you've already given us your answer, link me.

Correct me if I'm wrong (don't because I'll feel compelled to come back at you) but hasn't atheism shaped what God is?
I would argue/respond that it's the sceptics who have shaped "God". By using logic to question, religion has to keep inventing more spectacular answers. We should all bow our heads in shame. Amen. 
If they keep wanting to come up with ridiculous concepts about their magic man in the sky, then I say let them... We will just make fun of them all the same

No, it shouldn't, the faithful should offer up some evidence. Would put the whole thing to rest.

If those who belive in God all died early and went that wonderful heaven or paradise they all yearn so much to reach it would solve the population problem on earth for a considerable time. They could all sit at the feet of the imaginary super being and say prayers all day. Thats all they want to do. So why not start early.   It would mean those of us for whom this life is the only one we have could relax a bit. There would be far fewer wars far less to kill for and the chances are we wouldnt have to wait so long for a pension.  If they had any thought for humanity they would go now. |
