Okay, so I've changed my mind just a little, I gotta know---do any of them have a mullet haircut?  And if the answer is yes, PLEASE tell me it's one of the women.   I used to work with a woman who had a super long mullet.  She cut it herself because "nobody else can cut it right."

Apparently those xhristard posers in Florida didn't pray hard enough.  I wonder where Dripshit is?  Probably in a church!

I wonder if his church will turn him away from taking shelter there if their new carpet gets flooded.

Owait wrong church.

Geography and accent have nothing to do with poverty. Rural white poor have the same thing in common with poor urban blacks. Even with the middle class.

There is only one party using race and religion and class to divide us, only to turn around and FALSELY claim dems are the ones who started it.

My "Redneck" friend, from Oklahoma, was raised in religion, was always as a kid/teen in a family that struggled financially. He has since ditched religion, and is as liberal as you can be.

But even he agrees like I do, having been raised in the middle class suburb's of Washington DC that there still is a disparity between how blacks and whites are effected by the economy on average.

I want the same for poor rural whites as I do poor urban blacks, livable wages regardless of zip code, red or blue. There should be no poverty in a country with our GDP. Even with the middle class, nobody should have to chose between paying their rent or paying for their medicine.

OMG lol. I had a female client once who had a mullet. She wanted a poodle perm. It was so hard to not laugh. She got what she wanted and I was left with a $40 tip. 😸

My cousins, the ones you're thinking of, live south of I-44. This is significant in that the Ozarks official start along that line. I don't keep pictures of them, but they could wake onto the set of a "Ma and Pa Kettle" movie and Wardrobe wouldn't be needed. Five of them got married wearing "the good shoes", including one girl. Only time that pair was ever used.

"the good shoes." I LOVE IT!

And yeah, the weather turned around REALLY quickly. Even our county schools are closed for tomorrow. This one is going to be BAAAAAAAAD. Hubby is determined to ride it out in that single wide trailer close to the coast. I am not at all happy with that decision. If they tell him to evacuate he will respect that. Otherwise he will stay.
Where are we going and why am I in this hand basket?

Michael is now the third strongest storm to hit the US, after one in the 1930s (unnamed back then) and Camille. Lucky NC is all dried out and shit, ain't it.

Not even close to dried out.  It's a great time to be a roofer in NC.  They are booked out now months in advance.  Tree people too, still getting trees off of roofs.  Now there will be even more.  Even here near Raleigh there are over-saturated roots causing trees to lean dangerously with far more rain (and wind) expected, starting today.  There was a piece on the news last night about who should pay to get a giant leaning tree cut down before it falls---the person whose land it's rooted in or the person whose house it IS going to fall on, soon.  That's in Cary, NC which is 140 miles inland.

This one is scary.  Even here.

My brother lives outside Grey Court, southeast of Greenville, SC. His driveway was underwater until yesterday, local flooding. It appears he'll be in Nomanisan for a while yet with the oncoming precipitation. (His son has the required bass boat if they really need to get out.)
