Hmn, well, Frodo, I rarely miss a chance to twist the knife when you post.....but I don't think anyone's left any meat for me here, so I guess I'll just have to move on to a different carcass.

Creationism is a broad church. The one thing that is common to all creationists is that they believe that the all the manifestations in the Universe proceeded from an Ultimate Cause and Ultimate Reality. Where do you gather you information?  My dolls have begun to make low rattling noises, this does not bode well.

I can and do observe the Universe around me, yoiu know. Can't you? All I need to do after that is apply logic to draw appropriate inferences from my observations. Isn't this how an intelligent being should proceed? Why wait slavishly until you read stuff in print before you arrive at a view. Where is any sign of independent thinking there?

Sure. For instance, it is a matter of conviction for me - since I exist, and the Universe Exists - that there must be an Ultimate Reality. One may have a good argument about the Nature of this Ultimate Reality, but about It's Being, there can be no doubt! To claim that it doesn't exist violates all the laws of logic, does it not?
