How long does it take after one has eaten tainted lettuce for one to get sick?

The eldest daughter and I came up with signage, today, to help us compete with kroger.

"Poop Free Lettuce:  No Shit"

So 32 people get sick and its a national health crisis.  Meanwhile, there are mass shootings every day and no one gives a flying fuck.

Such is 'Murrica.

This isn't the only instance.  It's been a recurring problem this year...but....yeah, there is no excuse for -anyone- to get sick from food sold in this country. Our entire processing model is designed to prevent it, it's the pride of the entire earth (everyone mimics our shit)..and it works. Only..though, when producers follow blisteringly easy procedures.

Similarly, every store in america could just toss out all the lettuce..but they don't. They reckon that the sales will cover the liability.

Think about it this way..if the food you made gave someone a stomach ache..no hospitalization, no confirmed instances of some specific issue...you'd throw away all the shit in your fridge and bleach your kitchen. Not so with our processors, resellers, and retailers. They're willing to make people sick if it might cost more to prevent it. So what if it's somebodies kid..that they're trying to feed a healthy diet. There's .0000000000004cents to be made!

Blisteringly easy is right. Don't want the people who consume your product getting sick? How about providing basic sanitation for your workers, i.e., portable toilets, instead of the inevitable result of the pickers shitting and pissing in the fields that they are harvesting? What the hell else are they supposed to do!? Evidently these particulars jamokes didn't care. Not related to the latest lettuce deal, just an example of what goes on. Wash your vegies, peops.

Just eat a meat sandwich.

Not true. Most Americans do give a fuck, it is just that one profit lobby's leadership and only 5 million of it's gullible supporters have hamstrung the government.

But yea, you cant load a high capacity clip into romaine lettuce and shoot up a bar or music concert.
