This is stunningly inhumane - behaviour one expects from third-world despots, not from the US.  The notion that children in living in substandard conditions of the government's making cannot be supplied with donated goods is shocking and disgusting.  What's even worse is that boil on the buttocks of humanity you call a president is perfectly willing to do an end run around the normal appropriations process to get money for his stupid fucking wall, but won't to the same for the children HE imprisoned.
