Of course another answer to the OP is that religion maintains control by removing distractions. Sex is a big distraction. It's more difficult to repress yourself sexually when you see others who aren't doing the same.

Sex is not the issue here sport. when married there are no limits. it is the sex without marriage that is frown upon. those two kids screwing stayed together. raised a family that is the model that is the point.

those girls where raise in a good 'moral' society without God. A society so filled with that sort of thing and so "moral" God obliterated it. The only reason those girls and their dad was spared is because God's guy/representative asked him to do so. The fact that they had sex with their father showed how the world can corrupt what was once a holy family with pop 'morality.'
