Not entirely true.    Some of the same men would likely condescend to node with affected grave agreement if it were, say, the likes of Laura Ingram shooting their anterior anus off with diarrhea of anti-science polemics.

Understanding global warming is as simple as understanding adding numbers and dividing the total to get an average. I can't do the extreme math myself, but it is really as simply as middle school math, but with extreme amounts of global temperature records put in to a computer model and averaged out.

It is also as simple of thinking of the ice caps as the air conditioner of the planet. Overload the fridge by leaving the door open, and putting a blanket over it, the unit eventually breaks down. That is what burning greenhouse gasses are doing. Like if you stuck a live hair dryer on full blast in the fridge and put a blanket over it.

Just like I can't build a laptop from scratch like a factory, but I damned sure accept that my laptop doesn't run on pixie dust.

If an adult is telling you your laptop does not run on pixie dust, and a kid agrees with that adult, why bitch at the kid for telling you the truth?

Way to take that out of context. Maybe it is my fault.

The science in detail  is hard, but the concept of adding up and dividing to get an average is a simple concept. There is tons of fields that collectively prove climate science yes. But I do understand and accept that burning fossil fuels is trapping heat causing the ice caps to melt. 

Just like I cant name all the classes Darwin solidified, but do know what Adenine, Guanine, Thymine and Cytosine are, and also understand that evolution is like a deck of cards where the DNA sequences shuffle over millions of years that lead to different looks.

Point is one does not have to be an expert in a field to accept what the experts are saying.

I cant build a car from scratch all by myself. But the concept of a combustion engine isn't hard at all. Turn the key, the key sends an ignition to the fuel which causes an explosion in the engine, which causes the pistons to move up and down, which turns the axle and the wheels, when in gear. 

I agree to get to the "expert" level it takes a shitload of work, and brains, brains I never had, but wish I did. But I am most certainly capable of understanding an overall principle.

I'm more speaking to the blowback at large. It's mostly just old dudes made at a young woman. It's a song as old as time.
