[Serious] Time to embrace Islam!
RE: Time to embrace Islam!
Is the sex palace in the sky kosher? How about the gay bdsm dungeon he's running in the basement, coming up with creative things to pour into other guys anus? It's a funny thing, magic book declaring other things to be filth, and asserting it's sole proprietorship of holy and sacred filth, to be worshiped as an idol.

Good luck getting right with your master jesus, Atlas. Wink
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The Quran doesn't have the bible's language about sexuality; it never dives into the size of male genitalia, or the quantity of human semen.

The first harshest, most explicit verse are not even speaking about this life:

Quote:Sura 69, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 25 )   But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record
( 26 )   And had not known what is my account.
( 27 )   I wish my death had been the decisive one.
( 28 )   My wealth has not availed me.
( 29 )   Gone from me is my authority."
( 30 )   [Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him.
( 31 )   Then into Hellfire drive him.
( 32 )   Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him."
( 33 )   Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great,
( 34 )   Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.
( 35 )   So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend

Of course; no human has the right to "insert" another human in a chain.

The second harsh verse is speaking about this life; and it gives humans the right to arrest "people who corrupt in earth" and do one of the following penalties to them:
1-killed
or
2-crucified
or
3-their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides
or
4-they be exiled from the land.

Except:
-Those who repent before arrest

Quote:Sura 5, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 33 )   Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

( 34 )   Except for those who return [repenting] before you apprehend them. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

The third controversial verse is in the story of prophet Joseph -peace be upon him- when he almost had adultery:

Quote:Sura 12, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 23 )   And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him. She closed the doors and said, "Come, you." He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allah. Indeed, he is my master, who has made good my residence. Indeed, wrongdoers will not succeed."
( 24 )   And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. And thus [it was] that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants.
( 25 )   And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment?"
( 26 )   [Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.
( 27 )   But if his shirt is torn from the back, then she has lied, and he is of the truthful."
( 28 )   So when her husband saw his shirt torn from the back, he said, "Indeed, it is of the women's plan. Indeed, your plan is great.

The fourth and last controversial verse is about the Queen of Saba'a; exposing her legs when she thought that the palace of Solomon -peace be upon him- is made out of water:

Quote:Sura 27, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 44 )   She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds."

That's it. The rest of the Quran -even with the above verses- doesn't contain nothing of what I saw written in the bible.

One should expect the utter pureness when reading the word of God; and I found that purity with the Quran.

In other words; an author who keeps mentioning these stories is an author who is dominated by these stories. I expect  more from a God who claim utter purity.

So, all the chatter about menstruation in the Quran doesn't trouble you?  Would you let a five year old girl read that?

Boru

There are only 2 verses about menstruation in the whole Quran. Here are they:

Quote:Sura 2, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 222 )   And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you. Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves."

When my 5 y.o ask about the meaning of this; my answer would be taken right away from wikipedia: "when girls become women, they will produce blood for a week from each month. That blood is harmful, but the little girl is not little anymore; they can handle that blood and clean it. It's not painful, but a sign that you are a woman now".

The second verse:

Quote:Sura 65, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 4 )   And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.

I would say to the 5 y.o daughter: "Remember verse 222 of Sura 2 ? We talked about how little girls bleed a non-painful blood for a whole week from every month when they become women; just like vampires Smile When women grow old that blood stops. Some little girls go very late to become women; their blood delays.

These 2 verses are about how Muslim women should handle their bodies and handle the responsibility their body imposes on them, including women who have health problems delaying their periods

But where is the chatter? that's everything about menstruation in the Quran that I know of.

Ok, so you're comfortable explaining menstruation to a child, but not ejaculation.  Why the difference?

Ejaculation is mostly sexual and produced after sexual encounters -even if the encounter was with one's own hand-. Menstruation is not sexual; but a sign of growing up for females.
RE: Time to embrace Islam!
Menstration is entirely sexual and is produced regardless of sexual encounters with no need of any hand.

The body...the one that your silly god designed..remember......emits fluids. All kinds of fluids. From all kinds of places! Do you really think that the author of life, the being that made the human body this way...is the one with the hangups here? It's probably just you, right? I'd take menses porn over moneyshot porn all day long. Just that much less peener in the frame.

Your purity standards and expectations are arbitrary, ridiculous, and thoroughly human. They have nothing to do with gods. Then again, neither does the quran, so there's always that.

Why don't you donate your organs while alive then, and replace them with the artificial ones, made but not silly agents?

You're assuming if a god exists then this world must be perfect, which is wrong.

You can't be serious.

No; menstruation is:
Quote:Menstruation, also known as a period or monthly,[1] is the regular discharge of blood and mucosal tissue (known as menses) from the inner lining of the uterus through the vagina.[2]
[/url]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstruati..._frequency

Having sex during menstruation is dangerous and known to transfer STIs like HIV -yes..God wasn't joking when he warned humanity from engaging in sex during the periods of women-:

Quote:Risk of STIs. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, having sex on your period increases your risk of getting or transmitting an STI, [url=https://flo.health/menstrual-cycle/sex/stis/living-with-hiv-positive-partner]like HIV. The virus may be present in your period blood. For this reason, doctors strongly encourage using a condom to decrease this risk.

I think I wrote the comment fast and didn't think about it probably..it's a sign of puberty and it is sexual. If it's a sign of laying offspring, then it is sexual. I made a mistake here regarding the connection of menstruation to female sexualitty.
