More of my family's repugnant display of faith
The following is a screenshot of a picture/caption that my cousin posted on facebook. I happen to know for a fact that he isn't joking at all.

If god isn't poor, why does it seem he's always short of cash?

Tell your cousin that instead of taking pictures he should concentrate on proof-reading.

we're into a big debate now. i tried, but couldn't remain silent. he got the money from collecting donations for Haiti. he got to keep 25%, so he feels justified in saying that the money was blessed to him from god, since he got it by doing "god's work".

I said that that was the most disgusting thing I had ever heard.

Wait...he's keeping money...from...donations? Even allowed...?

I can't. My brain can't do it. I've got to get another drink.

I never said his god is "poor." I said his god is a scumbag. Looks as if they found each other.

Apparently if they tell people up front that "a portion of the proceeds will benefit the people in Haiti" it's perfectly alright.
