RE: What's everyone up to right now?
garage is full of boxes ready to move interstate
secured new house to rent
2x cars booked to be moved
truck to relocate us has been booked

plane flights have been booked -paid $100 extra to have no other seats in front of us - the paranoia is strong with this one...
booked car at Brisbane airport - fuckers won't fly to Hervey Bay anymore. No more REX (regional express -a subsidiary of Qantas)
It's a 3 1/4 hour drive. But dropping the car off at Hervey Bay.
Can't get hold of anybody here to disconnect internet or foxtel - I realised why. India is on lockdown! So no call centres!
No God, No fear.

Are you moving to Hervey Bay?
We'll be within 3 or 4 hrs of each other.
You should come visit when lockdown is over.
I'm in Toowoomba. :-)

Do they have Mountain Dew in their veins, because in the black and white scenes, their blood is a translucent white. And no, it doesn’t look like an artifact of the conversion to black and white, because the aftermath of the battle is in color, and when I used my phone to compare and contrast the black and whites, the bloody parts showed up dark.
They had to do that scene with a B&W conversion because of the ratings issue. That much red blood would have them to get an up-tick in the rating to NC-17. So Tarantino decided to mock the process by making the blood look ... weird.

Mocking the rating system is mad cool.  There's a scene in either 'Be Cool' or 'Get Shorty' in which Travolta is told by another character, 'If we want to keep the PG-13 rating, we can only drop one f-bomb' and Travolta replies, 'That's fucking stupid.'

I remember that, just not the blood being so translucent.
