RE: So, what is it that Trump should have done differently?

This is a photo of President Johnson in 1968 about the time American deaths in Vietnam reached 40,000, the number of Americans dead so far from COVID-19.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I think he's actively evil if that makes you feel better.
Buts only because I pay attention to what he says and does.

He should have died sooner.

We keep pointing out that even according to Trump (when convenient) he's in charge and responsible and prof just wants to blame shift and make excuses to get Trump off the hook.
No we don't like you because you come off as a disingenuous person with a clear agenda you cloak in flowery nonesense .In his case you're clearly engaging in Trump apologetics and trying shift the blame for his failures onto everything else under the sun.
That is not true. I am blaming the whole hierarchy of government that we are supposed to trust.
You cannot do that, because you lack the objectivity and critical thinking skills to understand the purpose of a three-level governing system, because of the biased opinions you consume.
So it is true, In order to be a trumpomatic moron like our lunaphile friend here, one really does need to be just as oblivious as the trump moron himself.

I don’t entirely know if I would call him evil. Evil implies ill intent and hostility. I’m not sure Trump wants to hurt people, but he’s too stupid and self absorbed to realize that’s what he’s doing

Maybe depraved. Whether or not he wants to hurt people, I don’t think he’d lose a Planck time worth of sleep over it.

Maybe his intent isn't to hurt people.
But is his intent it to help people or to help himself?

It’s his narcissism at work. Praise him and he’ll do whatever you want. And the people who praise him aren’t exactly ethical. He’s easily manipulated by con men.
