Kind of reinforces the idea that people who buy guns tend to be more fearful than ‘the flock of the unarmed’.

You assume they are fearful. Mayhaps they simply like guns. (June 21, 2020 at 1:46 pm)BrianSoddingBoru4 Wrote:(June 21, 2020 at 1:43 pm)onlinebiker Wrote: Army vet empties pistol. Noone injured. Maybe he was just getting an early start on the 4th of July....
You assume that those guns aren't being purchased by people who already have a closet full. It's a strange assumption, since we know that this is exactly how guns move in the us.

Then why did the spikes in gun sales and background checks coincide with the COVID-19 measures? Could it possibly be because of the fantasy of hordes of post-apocalyptic looters running amok and trying to take your stuff? Yes, it’s an unsubstantiated conclusion, but not an unreasonable one. As to the parking lot shooter, the article says the vehicles were 10-15 feet apart, and he was walking towards the woman’s car. It seems like if he wanted to kill her and her daughter, he would have done so. Either way, it’s yet more good evidence that not everyone should be allowed firearms. Boru
