What if repeated outreaches fail? I don't know the persons involved (obviously), but there is only so much you can do before communication becomes virtually (and practically) impossible. "Doublethink", "compartmentalization" & "robust cognitive dissonance" fail to capture the evil of these ideologies that captures the unfortunate humans that end up in them.

I have a lot of people I have lost through the time I've been online, but also IRL and on 'social' media down the far-right pipeline, and due to my social awkwardness IRL, only very close friends have stuck around - pains me to write. Fucking opportunistic assholes. Heh, like saying 'asshole' twice.
