Can we say “ad hoc hypothesis” all together now?

More and more stupid.  Plasma is a physical medium.  Everything that exists is.

On Earth it isn't, idiot.  In other environments it is long lasting.  Did you not read the bit about it being the most common state of matter?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll

Quote:In internet slang, a troll is a person who posts inflammatory, insincere, digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as social media (TwitterFacebookInstagram, etc.), a newsgroupforumchat room, or blog), with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses,[2] or  others' perception. This is typically for the troll's amusement, or to achieve a specific result such as disrupting a rival's online activities or manipulating a political process.

Oh how original, the lying idiot accuses others of trolling him. You know, instead of throwing out idiotic lies and then losing your shit when the rest of us call you out on your lies, you could actually try to research if there are any valid arguments for your position.

But I can punish you if you began the insult, or forgive you:

Quote:Sura 16, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh

( 126 )   And if you punish [an enemy, O believers], punish with an equivalent of that with which you were harmed. But if you are patient - it is better for those who are patient.
( 127 )   And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.

In other words: an eye for an eye; but why not forget his insult? especially since it is the recommended action towards "trolling".

Trolls target your soul by trying to "break you"; he doesn't worth the high blood pressure, so as all trolls. I feel sorry for trolls though :/

And here come threats. Violent as well as stupid and mendacious. Keep digging down lad, eventually the hole will collapse in on top of you.

He's not even pushing a hypothesis, in science a hypothesis has to be able to describe witnessed phenomena to a reasonable extent. What he is pushing is unevidenced, disproven assertions.

In fairness...there's nothing wrong with a god made of matter.  Gods must be made of something.  Why not matter?

Familiar matter, exotic matter, it hardly makes a difference.  Sure - there are a ton of other claims a person might want to make about a god that wouldn't work for matter - but who cares?  If everything were made of matter than god would be made of matter too, perforce.

I think that it's refreshing to find a believer who thinks that gods and souls are made of stuff that actually exists in the universe.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I don't object to the notions that gods can be made of matter. My objection is that Winter seems to think gods can be made of electrons and protons and still not be made of matter.

He believes in magic. A thing can be made of matter and not-matter at the same time by magic. Wink

The poor poop doesn't know what discussions mean Consoling he also doesn't know what it means to have a theory but you discover in the end that your theory "is not true"; decent humans like me "admit that their theory was actually wrong and try again", but feces like you climb the high horse and get consumed by the animalistic high of obstinacy. The consequences vary from internet trolling to boyfriends beating the shit out of their girlfriends or a drunk father murdering his family.

I'll watch my attitude if I were you, and respect people who "admit they were wrong and try again".

RE: The problem of the soul
Seen this movie many times, though it was usually a Christian nutjob, not a Muslim.  Same dish, different flavor.  Winter, you are debating (arguing) with a bunch of science-loving heathens.  If you take the position that science is wrong about some very fundamental things, or that there is some sort of new science, or really anything not generally accepted as scientific consensus, then you are not going to be taken seriously.  It's a non-starter.  Just as if one of us went on an Islam forum and started arguing about some aspect of Islam while being ignorant of the Quran or some other aspect of the religion.  You can argue that the soul exists all day, but the moment you say something nutty like plasma is not matter, then you have lost the crowd.

I think there's more actual valid debate to be had in grand nudger's assertion.  Why can't god be made of matter?  Anyone here read the SF novel Calculating God, by Robert Sawyer.  Not the best novel but a decent read with a decent premise, that god is a matter-based entity that survives the collapse of the universe and has a hand in creating the next one.
Why is it so?

? who the hell said we are speaking about "how you look"?
I'm speaking about what "your soul is". Your soul is poop.

About the way you look, your color, your height, the way you look, is all irrelevant to me. Your soul; mate, that's what I care about.
When I fall or become really tired, I look for medicine:I don't care who made it, but I would be furious if an asshole with a corrupted soul "banned it" from me.
