Atheism and the meaning of life - what drives you?

For all of eternity only a god exists.

Does that make any sense ?

It's difficult for me to picture in my mind but that is precisely what many Christians believe, so yes, I can imagine this.  But I can't stop wondering where this god came from.
Why is it so?

Who cares/why does that matter. There are more important elements to consider.

If god stopped existing would you stop existing?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Also, what evidence or justification do you have for believing we were created by a god?  Or is it just another thing you believe for no good reason?
Humans are actually the "most important" living things on the planet, but that's not saying much.

Beings as complex as humans don't just come into existence for no reason at all.

How do you know god hasn't stopped existing?

Well I guess I don't know that. But it wouldn't change anything anyway.

There we go, the articles of belief you hold that wouldn't change whether a god existed or didn't, or with respect to any other fact, really.

What are those? That would be you talking about meaning as you see it..which, even according to you, has nothing to do with gods.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. You have opinions i have opinions we all have opinions. What are the important things that you believe would not be changed regardless of whether a god existed or didn't, as you just explained to us? What's in that set? IIRC you offered enjoyment, that there was meaning in the enjoyment found in life. Is it alone in the set, or is there more?
