Christian Looking For Debate

What?
Probably the cool red-to-blue text graphic. Great illustration of how micro-evolution leads to macro-evolution.
But the text IS still red................
(it was a fairly sweet way of explaining the concept)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I know what I believe but don't know how to logically defend it. Thank you everyone for the things you've said you've really challenged me. Honestly I've never been in a debate or needed to defend my beliefs in this way before. You all have given me much to think about and learn from so thanks. Yes, when you've became atheist. They have stupid beards and dress codes which advertise the fact that they are deluded. At least with christians you can't tell they're deluded until they say something. I can walk past christians and not know anything about their delusion or think about it, same can't be said for muslims. True of many....some of the xtian bozos we have posting here only need to show up for us to know they are deluded. RE: Christian Looking For Debate

About a century ago, I was on the debate team for my high school and it was a good experience. I learned to use evidence to back up an arguement. That just doesn't seem to work for this kind of debate because there is no evidence to support the idea of an actual supernatural being as creator of the universe.
If you believe that there is a god that really exists, then you should not be expected to defend that belief with logic, because it is an illogical position to begin with. I think that I can know with certitude that religion was created by man, and is nothing more than mythology because that is the factual truth. RE: Christian Looking For Debate

(There simply cannot be natural evidence of the supernatural, or it would cease to be supernatural) (November 19, 2011 at 4:40 pm)J.D. You are making an indefensible claim given the nature of the subject, unless you have supernatural powers and can detect the supernatural. I assume you do not and we can dismiss your statement easily. I assume you do not and we can dismiss your statement easily. Firstly, this statement can be leveraged against you with your claim to god. Laying that aside, you easily dismiss the supernatural in the case of the poster but go ahead and extend it to your god anyway? This game appears to be rigged, by definition.
