In short, Liberals tend to see patriotism as Anomalocaris sees it. A completely backwards way of seeing things, as far as I'm concerned, and not the mark of a healthy mind. No cognizant person thinks patriotism isn't a normal, rational, healthy, long-held tradition within humanity. I guess some people just don't get it.
