With a movement toward theocracy now openly visible, will the non-religious and any religious who see the danger in this come together to oppose such a change?  Or will it overwhelm an apathetic population?

While I am quite positive Ahriman will fully embrace their Muslim overlords I, for one, will find it interesting as to how exactly people will take to regressing back to bronze age practices.....

I don't see why anybody would think a theocracy is anywhere near on the horizon. It won't happen within my lifetime.

What would be wonderful about having a bunch of god botherers in charge, and how would they treat atheists and other rational thinkers?

Theocracy where a Huckabee is president?  Falwellian theocracy?  Or just a bible-holder-upper type guy?
