Duct tape is rather old school. There may actually be something more advanced available nowadays.

Where do you get your meat? If you're like me, you have plenty of explanations for what and why you eat what you do - but how many people realize that between 1990 and today, the market for meat in the us has become a contractual obligation that survives death, attached to property, driving prices up..rather than down..with no clear profit to producer over non contractual arrangements, despite the exorbitant cost of buy in?

I don't eat much meat, and when I do it's chicken.

Chickens the worst. The people that grow it are modern day share croppers...or worse.
It's pretty shitty...as in...demon's resume level shittiness. If you were lobbying for a position in hell, you'd prove your chops by growing food in the us.......

At least health-wise, the cluckers are better than the mooers.

Ish, but yeh, sure. Don't get me started on that giant tax fraud of an industry.

Mostly local stuff. There's a grocer/butcher in town called 'Far North Foods', essentially a consignment shop for local farmers. Not a huge selection, as far as variety goes, but we can get beef, lamb, mutton, and venison there. It's on the pricey side, but having been raised on farm meats, it just tastes better to me, and (it being just the two of us) we're not really looking to save 20c a kilo on meats.
Seafood/fish and poultry we get at the local farmer's market.

I tend to buy a lot of meat at Aldi's and Walmart because it's cheap. I only buy from the regular grocery store when it's on sale.
