The Origins of the Universe

RE: The Origins of the Universe
It's my impression Muhammad managed to get his story correct the first time around too. Old Horny Joe had to revise the revelations, and then revise the revisions.

And it looks like LDS administration might have tweaked a few (or most) again from time to time.

Hard to get the story wrong when you're manufacturing the details yourself.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

So... You're saying the Quran didn't get everything wrong? Just most things? Weird argument.

Even if it does get scientific stuff right (which it doesn't) that does nothing to support any of its other claims. Books are not magic.

The illuminating stars we see at night were, just as was the whole universe, in that 'smoke' material. God said in the Quran:
Then He turned to the heavens when it was smoke...
[Noble Quran 41:11]
Because the earth and the heavens above (the sun, moon, stars, planets, galaxies, etc.) have been formed from this same 'smoke' we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous 'smoke', they formed and separated from each other. God said in the Quran:
Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?..[Noble Quran 21:30]
Professor Alfred Kroner is one of the world's well-known geologists. He is a Professor of the Department of Geosciences, University of Mainz, Mainz, Germany. He said, "Thinking where Muhammad came from .. I think it is almost impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientists have only found out within the last few years with very complicated and advance technological methods that this is the case." (From 'This is the Truth' [video]). Also he said, "Somebody who did not know something about nuclear physics fourteen hundred years ago could not, I think, be in a position to find out from his own mind, for instance, that the earth and the heavens had the same origin."
Look closer to the heaven surrounding the earth. We call it the 'sky'. Notice the clouds? What are they?

Clouds are water vapor, not smoke. Anyone with a smattering of education would know that.

Also, if you want to discuss the scientific accuracy of Koranic verse, let's go, bud. Because an book regarding the Earth as flat is starting off on the wrong foot.

Are the mods cutting king krish so much slack for his spamming because he obviously doesn't speak or read any English?

universe was also like a bow of milk or a pot of opaque paint from which light can not escape.   you are going to say universe was a bowl of milk or a pot of paint now?

you have no clue what universe was like, the only miracle is achieved the impossible of knowing less than even you.

Science really has gone downhill as a publication over the years.

Isn't it awesome how religion can use vague wording to insert itself into science? Dodgy

Religious people can always to reality fit their religious stories  Dodgy

RE: The Origins of the Universe
It basically comes down to this. Do you want it bad enough? Would you do something horrible to yourself or others to make it, the thing that is the source that you want bad enough, real? If the answer is yes. Your wrong. No Peace/Love god would ask that of you. Your just deranged. As are most people. So being in the Majority isn't an excuse for the awful things your contemplating.
