I may have poisoned my step mom last night. Bad things are happening at both ends.

Started a batch of chili in the Dutch oven. I made fresh cornbread in my new bread-making machine earlier. It will be 2-3 hours simmering in the oven before the chili is ready.

It took five hours, but Dad and I have made it to the hotel. It's going to be a breakneck 3 days, especially since I apparently have to be packed up and ready to go by 8 AM on Saturday. We're going to try and see if we can get an extra day, but they're not sure if we can get it.

Ordering a new supply of masks. Bought both KN95 and disposable surgical masks. I'll use the KN95 when I ride the bus to donate plasma.
Decided to take a break. I've pretty much been cutting fabric, laying out designs and sewing for two days. My eyes, my hands, and my back need a rest.
Experimenting with some new designs...we'll see how they turn out.

Back from Wisconsin. I made it through the funeral with the help of Modafinil. The funeral was more or less as expected, and being the pallbearer was a fairly easy job. Just wheel the casket into the hearse and then heft it onto a platform where it will presumably be lowered into the ground. Also worth noting, at the wake, they invited people to tell some stories about her. And one of my uncles decided to make it all about the fucking end times.
