Or... you don't think that Trumps are so desperate for money that they couldn't afford to pay for someone's hotel room, plane ticket, and dinner?

If you are trying to sight in the gun, or check consistency of the shot using that attachment (silencer?), a tripod is useful.
I've only shot a pistol once - when I was around 11, and it was really too heavy for me to get a good shot. I could've used a tripod

A lot of people use tripods. I myself use a bipod and a rear bag. Though I'm going to make a new stock and get a front bag. I can cover a group of five shots at 50 feet with a dime and leave change. That's shooting in the bench rest position. I expect to improve with the newer equipment. I haven't shot my gun in nearly 2 years because of the exorbitant cost of ammunition.

I do ALL my hunting off a tripod. (A Bogan heavy camera tripod with a adjustable swivel rest).

If you want to wound animals and spend more time looking for bloodtrails than hunting - be a REAL man and do all your shooting offhand.
I prefer "DRT".
