Consider the mostly non-trucker occupiers and the cops were essentially buddy-buddy for most of the occupation of Ottawa you never really switched alignment

Oh, I won't put it past IA to shift his position with the wind. But in this case, there is no contradiction because the cops were limp wristed throughout the occupation of Ottawa because a lot of Canadian cops are right-wing nutters.

I'm hearing that the taser would not have gone off if the man fired it. If the police officer had reason to believe that was the case, then he is in the wrong and it's murder. If not, and he thought the taser was live, then I can see that being ruled justified.

Was the taser broken?
