Russia and Ukraine
RE: Russia and Ukraine
I had an argument with a Russian shill who tried arguing Ukraine was losing because.

Quote: Ukraine has suffered higher causalities then America in WW2.
Note  he provided no source for this and seems to want to overlook the fact Russia has too. So this isn't an argument.

Quote:Ukraine's running out of Ammo
Ukraine's has run low on ammo several times and still held out and Russia isn't exactly swimming in it. So this isn't an argument.

What decides whose winning is who has achieved it's objectives and Russia has failed to achieve any of it's objectives.

Huh, yeah, 405k. Thought that 1mio was sorta high. Reminds me to google more carefully after being awake for 15h and having a rather long working day.
Still does not change how absurd the original claim is.  Naughty

No problem and yes his claim is bonkers. And hell even if it were true that still wouldn't mean Ukraine is losing because if this guy happens to forget America was on the winning side of WW2 despite the causalities.

Motivation matters. It may not, and often isn't, decisive, but it matters.

China won't join in, they've too much to lose and nothing to gain from the Ukraine war escalating. India are far more likely to continue fence sitting while Russian commodities are ultra cheap, but try to swing back towards the US afterwards, especially now that they know the Russian weapons systems they invested into are vapourware.  And any African nations stupid enough to side with Russia would be as useful as a chocolate teapot in a volcano if a wider war broke out.

This is really good news (more than most people realize :Smile

And  again some numbers:

Greece has 1250 Battle Tanks.

Turkey Has 3000.

Germany in WWII had 3200 battle tanks.

Russia has lost about 2000 battle tanks / 1200 of these were directly destroyed by Ukrainian armed forces.

Soldiers seem to think that Putin gives a fuck about them and that only the leadership on the front is corrupt because they are being told by the officers that they were sent to die on the front.

Similar videos are being made by their wives and mothers.

So who knows, maybe Russians finally take matters into their own hands and remove the SOB.

In English, and in a military context, "casualties" also includes the wounded.
