Right. The idea that Americans can only fight from the air ignores the fact that we might not want to put troops on the ground. But when we do, they clean up pretty well. Brigade vs brigade, there's not many in the world who can stand toe-to-toe.

And yes, we will call in air support. Fuck around and find out.

Cute video. I have an NRA membership for the sole purpose of teaching Boy and Cub Scouts shooting safety and marksmanship. It's a requirement for having the certification to be valid, irrespective of how I feel about the NRA -they're mostly shits, imo. Back when they were about safety and marksmanship, they were a worthwhile organization. Getting into politics ruined them.

Indeed America's ground forces when deployed have been formidable and I find Winters's complaints about the Use of airpower silly. Every nation that has an airforce uses it and uses it to maximize its advantage over the enemy and minimize losses to there own side. It's Warfare 101. Does Winter  honestly think war is a  fair fight?

Not if the military doesn't want them to.

The US military depends on well-functioning economy. They won't be able to do anything against armed population.

I took one of those NRA gun safety classes in grade school in Florida. I already had all of what they taught from my dad; but it was good to know the other kids learned it too.

Our armed population depends on a well-functioning economy too.

Overthrowing a tyrant won't take a long time. Americans can handle short term pain.
