Atheism is a lack of belief in one thing. I don't have a clue as to what you're going on about.

So, brewer, do you not believe that God does not exist?

I don't believe in gods, pixies or goblins   what's this "is it worth living for" about  it's just the way I am

The way that I am is in doubt.

If you don't understand the OP, it is because of the local fact that the bare minimum is seen as a disgrace. I can ramble on with the best of them but I usually don't try.

Atheism does not require you to believe that gods do not exist, only to lack a belief that they do. You have a skewed view of atheism.

Or maybe it’s because you’re not using enough words to get your point across. I’m sure these posts make sense to you, but the rest of us don’t live inside your head.

This is kind of a strange question.

You are basically asking, "would you live/die for not being convinced of the existence of unevidenced, unfalsifiable supernatural claims?".

Restate your question, but substitute any other supernatural claim in place of gods, and see if it makes any sense. "Would you live/die for your disbelief in: ghosts, Ginn, bigfoot, etc, etc?"

Atheism is not a world view, has no doctrine, no dogma, no organizing leaders. It is nothing more than not being convinced in the existence of gods.

Atheism, is (IMO) nothing more, than correctly applying skepticism to the god claim. Other than that, it really does not have any content, that I can think of.

This seems kind of like a non sequitur.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Atheism is communal if anything. United we stand, divided we fall.

8,045,311,447 people could believe in God, and one person not believe in God (me), and atheism would still survive, in me.
