Every person is religious
RE: Every person is religious
Honestly ?

It's not a religious impulse. But a deep feeling of knowing there was a story that led to all of this.
I mean nobody buys the atheist story of non-belief TBH. Everybody feels it: "I came from some place else..", it's not illusion.

Some will say we are a product of "reincarnation of souls". Others will say aliens brought us here.
But the feeling is always there: "this is......I know its name, but I forgot...". Then a DEJA-VU feeling takes over..

The atheist explanation is just a give up tactic; a letting go. Trying to forget that impending feeling of knowing there was a story before all of this.

Emotions are not valid epistemic tools.

They aren't indeed, but they inspire you to validate the environment.
You get the feeling, then the feeling pushes you to discover.

That's called confirmation bias, a well-known error in reasoning.

I don't have such a feeling.

Theist story before all this:

A rib-woman ate a magic fruit at the bidding of a talking snake, and now all her descendants will burn for eternity unless they use ESP to tell the invisible son of a virgin that he should be their lord and savior.

And always remember that the first penis in Mary's vagina was her son's.

@WinterHold

Fuck you. You have no clue what I, or anyone else believes, outside what you're told. And, if you can't take others at their word about it, that's a you problem. Your divination is just so much smoke you're trying to blow up peoples asses.

My view as an atheist is not a "tactic"; it's a reply to bullshit. You want to show you're right? Great. Throw down evidence.

This third-grade "argumentation" is simply you jerking off in public. You shouldn't make your desire to be slapped so obvious, though.

We get feelings because of the quirks of neurochemistry.  Those feelings may push us to do this or that, but no explanation beyond brain is required for feels.  If there is some silly god out there somewhere, humans getting feelings is very bad evidence for it. We'd get the feels about stuff either way.
