Netanyahu will continue this war as long as possible, because once it's over he will face a no-confidence vote and lose power.

He is quite literally seeing that people are killed so that he may remain in office.

Hardly surprising. Even cursory check of his Wikipedia page does not paint flattering image of him.

And, once he loses power, he will go to jail.... you can see his incentive to stop the war, right?

RE: Noteworthy News
Poland’s Supreme Court has thrown out a case against a deputy government minister launched almost three years ago, when she was an opposition politician, over a protest she held in a church against the introduction of a near-total abortion ban.

She was accused of offending religious feelings and maliciously interfering with the public performance of a religious act, both crimes in Poland that each carry prison sentences of up to two years.

It's good that she was acquitted but the fact that she was tried at all clearly shows that XXI century did not visited Poland yet.

If the law exists, it is to be upheld.
If the law is wrong, parliament (or whatever passes for parliament in Poland) should change it, or strike it from the books.

Putting someone on trial for an actual infringement and then dismissing the charges, just because the person is a political ally, is dodgy. Dodgy

It certainly should be taken of the books. Not that majority of mps will do it being comfortable with church cock in their mouth.

Somehow I think that Supreme Court have better grasp of situation than you. But feel free to throw unfounded accusations. It's beyond amusing.

I can't agree. An unjust law should always be challenged by courageous people. If it isn't, there's no impetus for lawmakers to change or strike it.

He is quite literally seeing that people are killed so that he may remain in office.

It goes much deeper than his willingness to hold onto power. He has a very nazi like conception of the Palestinians as unpeople, and the closer he gets to losing, the worse the atrocities his people will commit.

Sadly it seems to be correct diagnosis as there are "reasonable grounds" to believe that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
