Thanks.  It seems that when you remove alcohol and all of the other maladaptive coping strategies that the thing you were coping with is still there waiting for you.

Removing what you are using to self-medicate doesn't remove the need for it in the first place.  You have managed to manage for a time.  Now, to deal with the underlying cause.  I wish you all the best.

Thanks again. Yeah, I am aware of that. I think I have been operating under some incorrect assumptions and maybe an incorrect / incomplete diagnosis. I'll find out more as this unfolds, until then I'm going to take care of myself

Watching football and looking at meat thermometers. My thermometer with the tethered probes for oven cooking behaved strangely the last time I used it. Thermapro has a similar unit with two probes and better quality probes for about what I paid for my current Thermapro, but it goes on sale every month, so there's no hurry.

I used two of them on my kalimbas, and I decided to mark the occasion with a little family portrait.

Cleared space in the garage for a buffet I've been admiring at the local ReStore. Antique, solid oak, with carving on the doors. Needs a little TLC before it goes into the house. It started at $3500, but that was just completely out of reach, so I cruise the place about once a week. I found a really nice oak entry table for $38 and snapped that right up. If one waits, the price can get ridiculously low. Needed some repairs, but it's done and sits on my left in my "carving area". The price on the buffet is down to $450. Can't buy the wood for that kind of money! When my son gets home from work, we're going pick it up.

Had a brown accident in my underwear. Going to blame me being sick.

Can't wear earbuds, because left ear keeps draining. Charging the headphones.
