Playing with knives. I'm surprised at how dull most of my knives are. Only one was able to pass the test of cutting paper. I stopped them a little bit and that improved the sharpness measurably. They still don't pass the paper test the way they do in the videos, but once started in a hole in the paper, they cut fairly well. I'm doing a good job of hacking up the strop. I'll order a second one when Amazon Prime Days comes on the 8th and 9th.

Vacuum sealing some pork chops. The chest freezer is close to full, and I'm picking up six pounds of wings tomorrow, but there were two packages of boneless center cut chops at half price, so I figured why not. I got 2+ pounds of prime chops for $5.

Used hydrogen peroxide and a product called "swimmer's ear", but the blockage remains. If it's an infection, there's no fever related to it. And if it doesn't clear this weekend, I'll go to a doctor on Monday.

I'm still having issues with my right ear. During the day it's fine, but after lying down, it's plugged up temporarily. I'll have to go see the doctor I suppose.

My guess is that both of you have sinus/eustachian tube issues.
