I believe it's good to seek alternate interpretations of literature. It's what I always did when I wrote papers in school.

I'm confused. If he was trying to play god then he should have done nothing, the same as every other nonexistent thing............. but that wouldn't be very entertaining.

On this forum we absolutely support all transgender rights. Suggesting that there may be problems involved, and comparing the issue to Frankenstein's monster indicates that you will not be a part of the in-group here. 

This means that it's OK to mock you, insult you, and correct your spelling (where posters in good standing make spelling errors all the time). No one will discuss the real issues with you though. 

There are still red lines, and some people's professed orientations are considered too odd. For example if someone claims to have a romantic relationship with an inanimate object, it's OK to mock such orientations. So if you pick on someone like that you could still be part of the in-group.

I'd say that equating transgender folks to "monsters" as he's doing here, speaks more about him than about any other poster in this thread -- and sarcasm aside you seem like his pocket-rocket.

If the in-group thinking is "trans people are people too", I'm good with that. I'm in on that. If you don't agree they should share our same rights, maybe you should outline that instead of being a passive-aggressive little bitch.
