From what I understand, it was mostly a reaction to NK sending soldiers to Ukraine, and some speculate that NK may be sending 100k troops.

What do you think are the chances of Trump actually sending weapons and money to Russia for their war in Ukraine and maybe even sending soldiers to annex the "woke" Europe?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Russia economy crumbling with food prices skyrocketing as Putin's problems mount

Russian president Vladimir Putin is facing an economic nightmare as the nation struggles to continue to fund his war effort in Ukraine.

Currently, a kilogram of potatoes is at least 73% more expensive than at the start of the year, while the price of butter has increased by more than 30%, according to data released by the Federal Statistics Service on Thursday.

Russia had already experienced rising food prices before this years surge, as Western sanctions, including restrictions on imports, increased the price of staple items including milk, bread and fish.

Other areas have been hit too, with a 64% rise in inflation, mortgage rates rising to more than 28% and interest rates reaching a record high of 21% last month.

Not really; a Putin propagandist would be pushing for more of Ukraine to be conceded rather than just pointing out the reality that the demands have not changed since the beginning.

Actually, a Putin propagandist would be doing everything they could to still find a way and get Harris into power...

That's the saddest part with people like TheWhiteMarten: he's spreading the Kremlin propaganda but he's too stupid to know it.

Oh, good googly-moogly. It's not like they've not used nuclear threats like a hundred times before now, trying to scare off support for Ukraine.

Give Medvedev another two shots of vodka, he'll be waving around yet another world-death shot. It's a bluff. Call it. I'm pretty sure their canisters won't fire, or maybe manage a pad-to-pad launch at best.

This is the guy who decided to move out of Afghanistan after all these years of allied effort in time in which Afghanistan had to be transformed into something like Japan after WWII. Why? Because the Afghans needed at least another 20 years to leave feudal values behind and change into something like today’s Japan or today’s South-Korea. So this was a huge mistake and D. Trump is not someone who will not repeat similar mistakes in Ukraine Smile

I definitely disagree. After the Ukrainian phone call got him his first impeachment, Trump detests the nation and Zelenskyy. Not to mention he's so busy fellating Putin that he won't consider America's own national interest.

We don’t really know who and what Mr. Donald Trump is:

There is a book by someone called Régis Gente (which I didn’t read yet) in which it is speculated that the KGB started to invest in several personalities since the late 70’s it saw as potentially “influential men” in 30, 40, 50 years’ time. The book has not been translated to other languages yet but Russia specialists are talking a lot about this book in the French-speaking world:

+ The situation in the Ukrainian Front is not good at all. Ukrainian forces are already overstretched and specialists say that if the Russians manage to break the Ukrainian front at some place, the whole Ukrainian army could go down within days.

/ Negotiating is not an option either because signing an agreement with Putin does not have any meaning other than giving Putin’s army some extra time to regroup before its next attack.

If Watergate had happened today, Nixon supporters would write posts on Twitter defending Nixon’s dishonest actions etc.

Going back to the 90’s, I can still remember how Bill Clinton’s oral-sex scandal had almost pushed him to resignation.

So we might simply have to wait and see. The choice of the American people has to be respected. But I still believe that if Kamala was a man she would probably have won this election. Smile

Yes. It's possible Trump is a KGB asset. There's also the possibility of kompromat on him. None of that obviates my point, that Trump will not support Ukraine; in fact, you're supporting it.

Certainly possible, but unlikely. Russia is losing 1500 men per day right now, and are so desperate for manpower that they're hiring North Korean meat puppets.

The folks in the thirties here in America formed fascist leagues and tried their level best to stay out of a war that if the two antagonists had won would have seen 1.5 billion people enslaved. Let's not engage in Greatest Generation mythology.

She was still the wrong color, and Trump has given the American racist permission to be unhidden.
