Trump says trumps freeze is fake news. I love their rationale for this, btw. It's fake news because they only meant "democratic priorities", lol.

The truly cynical part about this memo is that it mandates that all this funding will now be under the control of political appointees. And if the appointee decides to misbehave, you have to sue each one individually.

When asked, Karoline Leavitt acknowledged that the white house had given the order to fire the DOJ prosecutors that had worked on Trump cases. I guess an independent DOJ is just a thing of the past.

A senior administration official suggested that 5-10% of the federal workforce might accept the buyout and quit, which he estimates might save $100 billion dollars. However, $100 billion dollars is one-third of the compensation paid to federal employees, casting serious doubt on his or her grip on reality.
