Also this is yet another dishonest straw man fallacy from you, since I never claimed a deity or deities were / are impossible.
Did you not ask my reasons why it is even possible? I put it in bold for you in the original quote. If you think deities are possible, then that's fine.

Yes I did, and if you think that represents a claim it is impossible, then I must ask if English is your first language?

Learn some language skills, any fool can embolden text.
Lets dumb it down:
1 I don't believe any deity or deities are possible.
2. You do believe a deity or deities are possible (yes?)
3. You claim to have good reasons for this faith based belief. (yes?)
4 What is the best of those reasons?
I have to ask, do you understand that not believing a claim, is not the same as making a contrary claim?

You just finished saying that you never claimed a deity was impossible. So, you may need to dumb it down for me further, because that carries the same meaning as you believing a deity is possible. Double negatives are tricky for everyone, so perhaps I did misunderstand you.

If he dumbed it down anymore he would need to use crayons

The telepathy tapes did make me open-minded. So go ahead, tell me what I believe, what am I thinking?
No one has to read your mind, you won't shut up about the things you don't believe. You know that your faith in god is not like a persons "faith" in a parachute. You knew it before you said it, you know it right now... while you're bitching at me about it.
Want some mind reading, though? You're fucking ashamed. You clipped out the thing you're bitching at me about. There's a simpler solution that won't make jesus think you're a peice of shit. Stop lying to people.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. You just finished saying that you never claimed a deity was impossible. You do know what a question mark means right?
Any chance of an honest answer?

If you think I claimed a deity / deities are impossible, please quote that.

I see, normally in conversations there are implicatures. And the quote above implies you don't believe deities are impossible. But I understand you're in debate mode and this is your version of saying "I can neither confirm nor deny."
Very well, do we agree that the concept of God is at least conceivable, or do you want to retract that as well?

Yes, like mermaids or Superman—they're conceivable too. Groovy, but that's not what I asked? You are so dishonest in debate it is painful to watch.
Quote:is the fact that something is conceivable enough to at least not consider it impossible?
Just to be clear (and this is a question that requires an answer) are you suggesting that anything we can conceive must be possible? I can conceive of mermaids and unicorns, after all.
Quote:I wouldn't think it impossible that mermaids evolved somewhere in an infinite universe, would you?
This does not suggest you think it is possible, and what's vital here is that you learn the difference between the two claims, that has thus far evaded you.
Quote:It may be silly, but certainly not impossible.
Please demonstrate it is possible then? NB this is a request you evidence your claim, don't respond with a request I evidence it is not true, as this would be an argumentum ad ignorantiam fallacy.
