Trump had claimed that his late uncle, Dr. John Trump, taught Unabomber Ted Kaczynski at MIT. Kaczynski attended Harvard, not MIT.  Trump also stated that he spoke with his uncle about Kaczynski. Trouble is, Dr. Trump died in 1985, long before Kaczynski was on anybody’s radar, and in any case, was not identified as the Unabomber until years later.

Yes, I think it’s the reason. There was no evidence of a specific directive from the administration that these biscuits be destroyed at this particular time. USAID’s policy has ALWAYS been to destroy expired foodstuffs.
