It’s disheartening that the suspension of food aid for vulnerable USians triggered no movement to end the shutdown, but flight cancellations are causing the players (on both sides) to start looking for ways to end it.

I'm just hoping the dems don't cave to anything less than what the people deserve.
Knowing the repubs, they're thinking, "The worse things get, the more desperate the dems will become, and eventually they'll settle for scraps."
