We just had an iguana ambush some chicks by dropping death-from-above from a mango tree but mama hen was nearby and convinced the iguana today is not his day.

Never in my life did i expect to write that sentence.

An unknown caller told me that I'm eligible for a program which would offer a rent subsidy and $500 cash. They said they were referred by my health insurance provider and knew that I was on a disability waiver, so there are aspects which lend legitimacy to the offer, yet it also sounds like it might be a scam. They're going to call to do an application tomorrow at 11:30 A.M., I think if I have the option to review the application and they don't ask questionable info like bank or social security info, it probably isn't a scam. We'll see what they say tomorrow.

That sounds like a scam. The easy way to find out is to ask which agency they're with and then tell them that you'll call them back on their publicly listed number.

Watching the time they are calling for snow decrease with every passing hour. It is cold and rainy, but the snowpocalypse with ice doesn't seem to be happening after all.

Local Facebook pages have people freaking out that we are all gonna die and it would seem they have stripped the grocery stores clean prepping for what will be a messy weekend, at worst.
