Out at the field dumping ice on trees. Already 24f. Gonna keep dropping until sunrise. First truly long day for me this year. Shift will have been from 5am to 3am. Got a busted axle and a septic tank to dig up tomorrow…then it’s first pro again from 6p- midnight-ish. Still haven’t pulled all the trees out, probably two and a half more weeks of harvest, weather permitting (it will not, lol). Then it’s plowing and planting all over again by March.

Watching football. I had a late supper as I wanted to get an Amazon return started this evening. I braved the cold at 8:00 P.M. to get the wheels turning. Now I can turn to choosing the replacement product.

The cops had to come to my house in Washington. One of my renters was at the kitchen window and the neighbor's 14 year old shot through the window with a BB gun. The kid has been referred to prosecution for reckless endangerment. I looked up the statute, it fits. It's not entirely his fault, his parents are also assholes.

I just turned on the local news. Apparently, there was another shooting. There appears to be an ongoing confrontation between protesters and law enforcement. They're using dumpsters to barricade the area. It's looking like the incipient civil war has arrived.

Nah, there were a ton of people, non-violent. ICE tear gassed us four times while I was there.
