Russia has no confidence in it's ability to defeat the ukranian armed forces.

The issue of ukraine is not a dispute between zelensky and putin. It's not even a political issue. Zelensky does not have the authority to give putin what he wants, the ukrainian people are fighting for their existence, not their opinions. Putin does not want, and would not accept, mere capitulation. He wants the place free of ukranians. The ukranians are putins mexicans, the people he told his people they'd be doing away with, and stealing property from, to make russia great again. Zelensky is his joe biden. Price of eggs too much? Zelensky and the fucking ukranians did it. Cant get a good job? Zelensky and the ukranians. Rents out of control, consumer debt at an all time high, ruble worth less and less?
