Why did you need to point out he is in a wheelchair? How is it relevant to the subject?
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

Sometimes it pays not to piss off wheelchaired scientists:
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I pointed out that he is in a wheelchair as he is in a wheelchair. If he had 3 heads I may have mentioned that, who knows.
It is relevant as a means to distinguish who made the claim. I'm sure there are other scientists in wheelchairs, but I'm fairly sure most people would think of Stephen Hawking when thinking of a wheelchaired scientist. This topic is boring to me, so unless what I said about Hawkings' claims are addressed I won't respond any further.

Ask people why they believe what they believe before you insinuate that their arguments are stupid.
This is really the essence of it for me. Fucktard barges in with his stawman argument and holier than thou attitude without bothering to find out if anyone here actually fits into the niche it wants us in. A couple of quick questions and it would have found out a large percentage of the atheists on this forum identify as agnostic. After all the terms aren’t mutually exclusive and few of us claim absolute knowledge on the existence of god. At least not as far as the god of the deist is concerned. Then it has the audacity to act like it won when no one here wants to argue the position it projects on us. Fuck the ass wipe.

You wouldn't address Morgan Freeman as "that old black actor" and then justify it because, in your own small opinion, he is the most accomplished black actor in history?
You're being obtuse as fuck.

Yes I know he is in a fucking wheelchair. Again, I ask, how is it relevant?

It is relevant as a means to distinguish who made the claim.
You made a point of mentioning he was in a wheelchair, you did not need to do this to help us distinguish who made the claim, you fucking bell end.
All you had to do, to help us distinguish who made the claim, was say "Stephen Hawking said..."

That's cool, I'm fine with your non response, going forward.

Actually, I think the word you are looking for is facetious. Considering I have a disability and my girlfriend is one of dem coloured folk, your comment is all the more lulzy to me.

Quote:I have nothing against people in wheelchairs, it was just another way of saying Stephen Hawking. You can attempt to portray it as a character flaw if you want, I'm not bothered.
I got the impression that you're attacking his condition rather his argument. Which is of course, stupid. Lawrence Krauss talks about it too.
Quote:And even if I did have a problem with people in wheelchairs, how exactly are you going to knock me over sunshine? Would I give you my address?
Of course not, but if we were having a face to face convo, I'd say there'd be some chance of a little hostility. I'm pretty much expressing how much I dislike you.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
