You seem to think that your worldview is superior to mine. I'd go as far to say that you consider yours to be "correct" (how's that for "narrow"?) Have you considered this:

From speaking with other Christians it always seems their purpose for this world is for getting sorted for eternity. If you place more intrinsic value in this world than that you are a revelation as a Christian. I've met a few interesting Christians. They can hold the entire bible allegorically; so no personal God, no judgement (later), and no afterlife. They can even admit to agnosticism, albeit with a different belief position than mine stemming from that which neither of us can prove one way or the other. I have met interesting Christians, and you Daniel ... are more so than most but less so than some.
