heaven is the same as earth except God is there. A non christian man I know had a NDE he was taken and saw hell, and was taken past a planet he said he "felt" was heaven, and he was returned to his body, he still did not become a christian however, he attributed it to a hindu god of light because he saw a tunnel of light going up to God. Take it however you will. Heaven will be a really cool place, there will be no work needed, of course if you like work God will let you do it. Anything that people enjoy here on earth will be enjoyed in heaven. Sports, crafts, art, animals, trees, plants, water, water sports, food. It is essentually an eternal vacation with God as the host.
Your heaven sounds boring to me. Also I like extremely high temperatures, sins and most of my loved ones will end up in hell for rejecting the whole concept of god (because they read other books than the bible). And a big part of heaven to me is spending quality time with my loved ones
Quote:Homosexuality is a sexual expression, it is a desire. As a Christian we are to replace our sexual desires with love. Sexual expression is the same whether you do it with a man or a woman. God just wants Christians to do it with the opposite sex as he designed it. You really don't miss out on anything as a gay man becoming a christian, you can still express desire, just not with a man. In my opinion women are more fun than guys anyway. As for is there any punishment for you, of course not, Jesus did not punish people why should I. If you die an unbeliever, rejecting a relationship with God so you can just live with uncontrollable passion, and not be willing to relax your desires, you will end up in hell. But I am not here to try to scare you, just point out the fact. God is long suffering, he gives people plenty of time to repent.
But will I have steamy sex with men in heaven? Because that's the way I like to express my sexuality. Otherwise, I'd better be in hell right? Isn't heaven all about uncontrollable passion anyway?
I wonder, future,
Have you every made an effort to truly understand atheist view on god?

Charming. Last time I did that, I had to get off the bus.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I know I have to be careful about that. The bible says:
Luk 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
I just get frustrated with people who won't look at the facts, but rather just present their own ideas. It just makes me think they want their sin lives more than God.

How about people who have looked at what you refer to as facts, yet remain unconvinced? Not out of stubbornness or pride, or a desire not to listen, but because the 'facts' are unconvincing?

When you get a spare moment go to http://www.futureandahope.net it is my personal website it contains most of the experiences I have had with God. Some have been left of. But if you have an open mind you will see the facts God has shared with me.
I will share one of the stories off the site here so you get an idea of what is on there. The following is the first true story off the site and my favorite, the guy in this story was coincidentally an atheist.
One morning I got up and walked into the hall and I heard a voice that I believed was God say "How would you like to be stabbed in the Valley". The Valley was known as the rough end of town, and the voice scared me a little, I wondered if I had done something to offend God. I had planned to go down to the Valley to ask people out to church as was my habit at the time. In the end I went anyway regardless of the fear. I walked up to the first person I met and asked him if he would like to go out to church. He said to me "I am an atheist, I don't believe in God". I just said "fine", but hoped to change his mind. He then proceeded to unbutton his shirt and showed me scar marks up and down his chest and stomach. He said to me, "I was attacked by a knife wielding man in the Valley some time ago and spent months recovering in hospital, How could God allow that to happen to me". Then I knew why God had said in the morning "How would I like to be stabbed?". God understood this man, but had a good plan for him. Some weeks latter this man came out to church and became a Christian.

I guess the things I like to present on my website at http://www.futureandahope.net prove God if a person is willing to not call me a lair.
It is when people start calling me a liar, not that I really care to be honest, or try to reason away my experiences, that I start to think they are just wanting to remain in sin.

I knew a guy that heard a voice of god telling him to kill his wife....voice of god is government, right?
Could you proof your claim please?

I don't think you are a liar, but that doesn't mean it is the truth.
Rational thought neglect, that's the truth.
