Muhammad the Greatest: A Comparative Study
RE: Muhammad the Greatest: A Comparative Study
Quote:You want to believe God is bad so you can keep living your own sinful life style. I know he is not. Ask victims of crime are laws tough enough, and often their answer is no, people get off too easy. Tough laws promote clean societies. God just wanted a clean society he did not want sinners killed.

Tough laws don't solve criminality, so god was wrong.

I am talking about social justice, no where in the bible did God, stone or kill and adulterer. Not once. Jesus was God he let one go. But as for the flood you mentioned, it should be a warning to all men that God is not some fluffy bunny rabbit that we can appease with carrots, while we go off having sex with whoever we want, hurting others, and doing evil. God will eventually judge us. We are just lucky we are given a lot of time to change our ways. I hope God brings you to your senses and you grow to realize God has the best plans for you. Sin is just childish, for little boys who don't know how to grow up.

Future and hope, off-topic, but could you tell me a little more about heaven? What is it, where is it, what can you do there and who is in it?

I am gay, now what would you suggest me to do? And what will be the consequences if I don't?

A made up tale which was inserted into your precious fucking bible centuries later.

That particular bullshit story does not appear in the earliest extant bibles in our possession.

How easily fooled you are.

So, in your view of things, nobody at the time of the deluge had committed adultery.

Hi Dee,

heaven is the same as earth except God is there. A non christian man I know had a NDE he was taken and saw hell, and was taken past a planet he said he "felt" was heaven, and he was returned to his body, he still did not become a christian however, he attributed it to a hindu god of light because he saw a tunnel of light going up to God. Take it however you will. Heaven will be a really cool place, there will be no work needed, of course if you like work God will let you do it. Anything that people enjoy here on earth will be enjoyed in heaven. Sports, crafts, art, animals, trees, plants, water, water sports, food. It is essentually an eternal vacation with God as the host.

Homosexuality is a sexual expression, it is a desire. As a Christian we are to replace our sexual desires with love. Sexual expression is the same whether you do it with a man or a woman. God just wants Christians to do it with the opposite sex as he designed it. You really don't miss out on anything as a gay man becoming a christian, you can still express desire, just not with a man. In my opinion women are more fun than guys anyway. As for is there any punishment for you, of course not, Jesus did not punish people why should I. If you die an unbeliever, rejecting a relationship with God so you can just live with uncontrollable passion, and not be willing to relax your desires, you will end up in hell. But I am not here to try to scare you, just point out the fact. God is long suffering, he gives people plenty of time to repent.

Alternatively, you want to believe that we believe your god is bad so you can keep pretending we're corrupt and wicked, thus feeding into your self-righteous superiority. You must keep in mind that any discussion of your god's actions on our part carries the unspoken disclaimer of unbelief. What part of "we don't believe your, or any, god exists" is giving you trouble?

Seems this notion of moral superiority gets you off, anyway. Not easy to type with one hand, I imagine.

Except when it sterilised the planet under a year-long, mountain-high flood, or nuked Sodom and Gomorrah. All those evil, sinful babies - doing them a favour, really, eh?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

That is debatable. There are old texts that have ink marks where that verse occurs, representing an alternative reading being available at that point.

I once asked God about it, after doing some research into the topic. Whether it should be in the bible or not. I asked him if it should be in there when I randomly opened the bible that it would randomly open to that verse. And if it should not be in there that it would open to the verse about "not one dot being removed from the law". After praying about it for some days, and the bible not opening to either. I got rather frustrated, and said "God look I am not doing this out of an unbelieving heart, just show me the truth, and I will believe it". I opened the bible at random after the prayer, and it opened to the verse about the adulterer not being stoned, the very verse I had asked God to open it to if it was a true story. I have done this bible opening thing many times, and God has often answered on the very first time I asked, but this time it took a while to get the answer. But he "I believe" showed me in the end that the story is true.
