Science confirms the Bible?

Bullshit.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

God is the God of Creation, as such He put the processes in place that makes the universe work as it does.
You're absolutely spot on here. But take care not to ruin their party, they want us to think exactly as they think of us, I usually ignore that kind of bile.

Drip translation- "Science is just rebelling", "God works in mysterious ways", and "Duh, God did it silly atheists. Don't you use logic?".

The scriptures tell us that it had never rained before the flood, so how is what you have post any argument to what I said. By the way what I said did not come from Genesis.

Holly crap? Dude we really don't care which fantastic claim you want to focus on, the point in pointing out Genesis is the entire book from the start is full of complete demonstration of the ignorance of the people who wrote it. Talking donkeys and talking bushes and talking snakes and women coming out of a man's rib. The sun and moon being two separate sources of light. Adult plants "poof" into existence without the aid of photosynthesis.

You cant cherry pick that book, the entire thing is logically inconsistent.

There was no global flood. Flood myths were written in many cultures because humans saw their immediate surroundings as the entire world. The Epic of Gilgamesh has a flood story too.

As they do today, but where does it state that there was no rain at all before the global flood? I think you're just parroting some Hovind nonsense.

...Continued...

"The Bible tells us about the valleys and mountains in the ocean." 2Sam 22:16

FAIL!

Quote:2 Sam 22:16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

...and in Jonah 2:6

DUBIOUS

Quote:Jonah 2:6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.

Ancient people could observe mountains coming out of the sea in the form of islands. Is it beyond comprehension that some ancient people could speculate there were mountains under the sea?

Remember, for this argument to succeed, it is necessary that the apologist provide proof that there was no way the information could have been known by natural means and that supernatural revelation is required to explain the passage being quoted.

"The Bible tells us the ocean has springs." Job 38:16

DUBIOUS

From the chapter that talks about the storehouses of snow...
Quote:Job 38:13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

Oh, sorry, another flat earth reference...

Quote:Job 38:16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

Nothing here beyond poetry. Nothing that couldn't possibly have been written except through divine revelation.

...But wait, we saved the best for last...

"The Bible gives good sound advice on hygiene in Lev 15:13"

Confused Fall

SERIOUSLY?

SERIOUSLY?

FUCKING LEVITICUS CHAPTER FUCKING 15 IS SOMEONE'S IDEA OF GOOD HYGIENE ADVICE?

Are you sure you got this chapter number correct?

You do know this chapter culminates in a pigeon sacrifice, right?

Quote:Lev 15:14-15 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.

You'd think apologists would be embarrassed to draw any attention to this entire chapter of mumbo-jumbo over male sexual discharges and women on the rag but obviously not.

...to be concluded...

You really have no idea how science actually works, do you? It's not like some guy comes up with an idea which goes against the bible and then gets all his scientist buddies to agree with it because they all also for some reason hate God and want to disprove his existence, and then have all scientists hold onto those ideas for hundreds or thousands of years. Science leads people to the truth, and that truth has shown us that no god is needed to explain the universe.

Besides, there's no disproving God anyway, because his followers always come up with some new magical explanation to try to disprove the new non-god evidence.
